Jobs which are in demand the most 2024 Poland

The Polish labour market is becoming more and more attractive to specialists from all over the world. The reason behind this interest is not only the openness of Poland and its readiness to accept new nationalities but also the terrific lack of professionals inside the country. Polish youngsters are more into the fields of IT or crypto-economy, believing that those industries are the future of worldwide labour markets. However, the recent report "Batometr Zawodów 2024" prepared yearly by the Voivodeship Labor Office in Kraków says otherwise. The report presents a list of professions, suffering from a lack of interested workers. Among those professions, candidates from abroad may find:

  • bus and truck drivers;
  • welders;
  • grinders;
  • different construction workers;
  • warehouse workers;
  • cook.

Most of the mentioned positions are freed from the Labor Market Test by the Polish government, which drastically eases the employment process for both an employer and a foreign employee. Candidates from all over the world also have a lot to offer to Polish employers as they mostly have years of international experience, quickly adapt to new surroundings, are quick learners and reliable workers who are coming to Poland only to work and earn which is also valued by the local companies. We at EEJ noticed this tendency long ago and have already prepared available opportunities for the positions listed above. Contact us and get your chance to find your future in Poland today!

Salary change in 2024

Poland has been attracting foreigners who wish to change their lives for a long time. Apart from wonderful nature and impressive architecture, workers from all over the world are captivated by the perspective of settling in a country which values employee rights.

One such fundamental right is a constant salary increase to ensure decent living conditions for the citizens.

Poland regularly increases salaries twice a year. For instance, the salary of a physical worker who gets minimum wage in Poland has increased at least up to 4242 PLN per month gross or 27,70 PLN per hour gross in 2024. Starting from July 1, 2024, the wages for workers will change again and will be set at 4300 PLN per month gross or 28,10 PLN per hour gross.

What to expect in January 2025? One may surely expect the new wages up to 8.1 % higher compared to the previous year, which will make approximately 4500-4600 PLN per month gross.

The same applies to others, belonging to the categories of white-color, pink-color or other jobs. The salary increments are mainly regulated by employers in Poland, however, the Labor Office will not approve a job offer for a professional if the salary offer does not meet general standards.

Immigrants should not be afraid not to be subject to this rule as we are not talking about pure statistics but about the Decision of the Council of Ministers. This turns regular increments into permanent regulations, making it one of the basic requirements to obtain a temporary residence card, and puts restrictions on the employers.

EEJ values its hires and provides decent wages to every specialist in our offers. Contact us today and get to know more about your future job!
